March 5, 2021: Sri Pandharpur Dhama. This morning around 8:30 am, HH Lokanath Swami and I were doing some stretching and discussing yoga asanas. Maharaja was bending his neck to the left and began chanting the following verse from Srimad Bhagavatam:
vyoma-yāna-vanitāḥ saha siddhair
vismitās tad upadhārya sa-lajjāḥ
kāma-mārgaṇa-samarpita-cittāḥ
kaśmalaṁ yayur apasmṛta-nīvyaḥ
The gopīs said: When Mukunda vibrates the flute He has placed to His lips, stopping its holes with His tender fingers, He rests His left cheek on His left arm and makes His eyebrows dance. At that time the demigoddesses traveling in the sky with their husbands, the Siddhas, become amazed. As those ladies listen, they are embarrassed to find their minds yielding to the pursuit of lusty desires, and in their distress they are unaware that the belts of their garments are loosening. (SB 10.35.2 – 3)
Maharaja went on to describe how Lord Krishna rests his left cheek on his left arm while playing His flute. I was filled with wonder at the intricate details that Srila Prabhupada has invested in us of the glories of Lord Krishna. Maharaja went on to explain to me about all the different Gitas (songs) in Srimad Bhagavatam. This verse is from the Yugala Gita. “Yugala means two”, Maharaja continued. “Two sets of gopis singing together… And then the next set of two gopis sing together…”

March 4, 2021: Devotees in our Prabhupada Ashray ashram are asking when the wood work will be finished. So much music from the sound of the electric tools trimming down the wooden doors! Our carpenter assured me that only two more days and the doors will be finished. 4 doors. 16 hinges. Then working on the third and last window. Work is going on…
March 3, 2021: Nice pictures here! Ceiling work continues with a metal framework installed. A two story scaffolding was constructed to build a shed to shield the AC system from the wind and rain. Carpenters are installing the double door and double glass window frames. Doors are being made.
Feb. 22, 2021: Our three Carpenters, headed up by Bhakta Sujit are hard at work making and installing door and window frames. We are planning Butterfly Doors, which means two doors on 1 frame. One door opens outwards and one door opens inwards. Each door is in excess of 330 pounds! Heavy! The window frames are teakwood. We are planning double glass. Each window will have a 20 mm glass and a 24 mm glass, with the mercy of Lord Krishna. Our studio designer, John H. Brandt is always just a whatsapp message away. I send him photos every day and he guides us.
Doorway is covered in rubber before frame.

Feb. 14, 2021, On this special day of Saint Valentine’s Day, we are inaugurating our new logo for LOK.MEDIA. Special thanks to expert designer Sadhna Mataji for making the design. The color is inspired by the saffron cloth of a sannyasi. And special thanks for an unnamed business tycoon for inspiring the design. He will get ajnata sukriti (spiritual benefit). Please let us know how you feel about the new logo, and if you have any suggestions in our Feedback Section. Thank you very much. Hare Krishna.
